On Saturday 4th September 2021, NTV’s renowned journalist, John Cliff Wamala—in the company of his close relatives and friends traveled 354 kilometers from Nsambwe in Mukono to Ngarama in Isingiro District where he was introduced by her fiancée Nahabwe Saphira Rweizire.
At the scientific kuhingira ceremony, the broadcast journalist was accompanied by friends from the media fraternity like Ali Mivule and Andrew Kyamagero from NTV Uganda, BBS TV’s Culton Scovia Nakamya and Alex Esagala from the Daily Monitor among others.
Online sources have it that Wamala and Ankole’s finest, as he describes her (Saphira) started dating back in 2014 during their stint at Uganda Christian University, Mukono where they were both pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication.
It’s important to remember that Wamala proposed to Saphira at the tail end of last year, on December 24th during the heated 2021 presidential campaigns.
