Someone once told me that extravagance is attractive in a society that appeals to being ?different?; simplicity is just boring. But simplicity is also elegant and sometimes intimate and sophisticated.
And if you ever wondered how elegant simplicity can be, then say no more. Amina and Abdul-Shakur redefined that at their nikkah event that was only attended by close family members, relatives and a few friends.
Although it?s often said that men don?t kneel especially among the Baganda, Abdul smile-bent on both knees as he exchanged rings with Amina. To Amina and Abdul, congratulations to you from us all at Mikolo.
