The Bible has it that “He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from the Lord.” But how about if you find that special someone at a worship center, don’t you get double favours from God!!! because that’s where Lubwama Stephen and Najjemba Brendah, who go by Steve and Brendah in their love life met.
“We met at church,” Steve intimated to www.mikolo.com
“We fellowship from the same church, Kasangati Full Gospel Church,” he added.
Although they attended the same church for years, the groom told Mikolo their relationship didn’t until 2017. “It’s been since 2017 when we started the relationship.”
As time went by, that romantic connection only grew stronger and two years down the road, on Saturday 16th February 2019, Brendah hosted Steve for their Kukyala (pre-visit).
And on Saturday 11th January 2020, Brenda introduced Steve to reset of her extended family, relatives, in-laws and friends at her parents’ home in Bunamwaya, Wakiso at a glamorous traditional wedding function.
So how was the introduction planning process for you both?
It wasn’t hard. We planned together with our families and close friends.
Band music duo Geoffrey Lutaya and his wife Irene Namatovu graced the function and entertained the invited guests as well as Mesach Ssemakula.
Former Deputy Chief Justice Steven Kavuma, RT Rev. Bishop Ssebagala of Mukono and Rema’s doctor, Hamza Sebunya were some of the notable figures that attended the couple’s customary union.
