When Charles Odongtho skipped hosting the NBS Frontline show on Thursday 28th November 2019, I knew he was up to something special, bearing in mind that the last time he had missed the same show, we woke up to the news of him having been introduced by Linda just days later.
Well, he missed again and Saturday 30th November wedded his fiancée Linda Bernadette Kyarikora. The couple exchanged their vows at St. Charles Lwanga Catholic Parish Ntinda and later treated their guests to soothing entertainment and a lavish dinner at Naguru Hill Top Lounge where they had their reception.
Charles’ rich guest-list included Prime Minister Ruhakana Rugunda, DP President Nobert Mao, Rwoth Ubimo Olaker Rauni III (the Alur paramount King), Padyere MP Joshua Anyarwarach and Gen Mugisha Muntu of the Alliance for National Transformation (ANT) as well as journalists, relatives and friends.
Having been a secret admirer for long, Odongtho told guests at his wedding that he met Linda in the line of duty. Linda was executing an assignment on behalf of her boss Hon. Mary Paula Turyahikayo. And when she called Charles to coordinate a team of journalists to cover the Speaker of Parliament RT Hon. Rebecca Kadaga while on her tour to Western Uganda last year in August, his longtime wishes had materialized into a horse.
He took the opportunity to make his love intentions clear.
The couple opted from the Toyota Land Cruiser V8s for their bridal cars while Dalausi Juice were among their many service providers.
