As the Bride and Groom Expo marked its 15th anniversary at the UMA Show Grounds in Lugogo, there were new faces and seasoned exhibitors from Uganda’s wedding and events industry such as Kabira Country Hotel, Serene Beauty, Sparkles salon among others.

But among the new faces was News anchor Sheila Tusiime’s Love & Lace that stood out. The Love & Lace bridal emporium situated at Pioneer Mall is making a name for itself as the new stop center for almost all sorts of traditional bridal wear.

Ready to dress both brides-to-be and guests, Love & Lace showcased a rich closet that consisted of the western Uganda traditional wears of mushanana, busuti and the omwenda, the multi-cultural gomesi among other items.

But more eye-catching for most people that visited the stall was the plethora of unique fabrics that one can buy and have tailored to their preference.

Love & Lace’s contemporary collection also included bridal accessories like clutches and earrings among other things.

Their classy and unique taste in traditional outfits was the X-factor at the expo, exquisite enough to attract the attention of multiple celebrities who visited the stall.

On the first day of the exhibition, Spice Diana and Eddy Kenzo, who just hours away from his kukyala with Hon. Phiona Nyamutoro visited the store.

And on the last day of the exhibition, music star Bebe Cool, real name Moses Ssali, socialite Sheila Gashumba, BBS TV presenter Diana Nabatanzi, renown wedding MC Collins Emeka, Warafiki Music group, NBS TV’s Canary Mugume, Samson Kasumba and Josephine Namakumbi all stopped by the Love & Lace store.
