When I saw Eddy Kenzo checking out a fine fabric at Sheila Tusiime’s Love & Lace stall at the Bride & Groom Expo on Friday (28th June 2024), it didn’t occur to me that the BET Award winner and the State Minister for Energy and Mineral Development Hon. Phiona Nyamutoro were about to take their love to the next step.
Well, it happened just hours later on Saturday 29th June 2024, as the Nebbi born welcomed the Masaka born music sensation to her parents’ home in Buziga, off Gaba Road in Kampala for their kukyala and engagement. It was a private and heavily guarded function.
Eddy Kenzo’s relationship with the Youth Legislator was made public earlier on this year when the singer revealed that he had sired a child with her.
Since then, the two lovebirds have not shied away from making public appearances together. Grapevine has it that very soon Eddy Kenzo will be making the long trip with his entourage to Nebbi for their traditional wedding ceremony.
