In a hashtag, the deft photographer Emmanuel Manzi of Dynamic Wedding Photography called it an ?African luxury wedding?. He couldn?t have said it any better. Kevin and Kimberley?s white wedding was everything luxurious, classy and glamorous. It was absolute goals.
For me as a writer and a Ugandan wedding fanatic, the 2020 wedding goals came early enough for couples planning their January-February weddings for next year. The couple?s sense of fashion was quite extraordinary.
Kimberley wore a tailored perfectly fitting wedding gown by Fatumah Asha, accessorized with a chic piece of head jewelry while maids in clad in green custom-made mismatched-neckline long dresses.
The groom, on the other hand, donned a black and blue three-piece voguish tuxedo, same as his right-hand man (best man) while the rest of the groomsmen cloaked multi-colored three-piece suits.
Kevin and Kimberley along with their entourage had photo shoot moments at the five-star Kampala Serena Hotel among other places. This on many counts could be the wedding of the year…but hey, we still got some days to count it off.
