Whoever invented the saying that “love is patient” must have been a genius that deserves a road in his/her name. This is simply because being able to wait is a sign of true love and patience. Anyone can say “I love you” but not everyone can wait to prove that it’s true.
Well, Kato Emmanuel Kavuma Kutesa and Fiona Racheal Nakalema waited to prove that love to each other. Fiona may have been left behind but she was patient enough to wait for her sweetheart Emma, who was in the diaspora in Dubai for quite some time.
Mikolo understands that the couple had their Kukyala in June this year. Later on, Fiona introduced Emma to her parents, relatives and loved ones at her father’s home in Mika, Busunjju on Sunday, 201th August 2017, an event we witnessed.
It was an epic introduction given the comic speeches from the two MCs (aboggezi) from each side. They made every guest feel at home but also cracked their ribs as they put them through endless moments of laughter.
Among the gifts brought by Emma’s side included a cow, a dining table, a plastic tank, a sofa set and many more valuable items.
A week later, Emma returned the favour to Fiona as he walked down the aisle. The youthful couple was wedded at Full Gospel Church in Makerere on Saturday, 26th August after which they went for a photo shoot at Speke Resort Munyonyo.
The two love birds, later on, hosted their guests at Posta Gardens in Nakawa.
