It was a show stopping moment, an instant for the guests to gape a little when Namubiru Ann Joanita stepped out. Exceedingly beautiful, Joanita was clad in an ivory gomesi with a touch of gold and a red sash as she hosted her swain at her parents’ home during a glamorous kukyala event. Ann’s brilliant makeup and exquisite hairdo were accompanied with a red stone studded choker necklace.
Meanwhile, her sweetheart was dressed in a white Kanzu with a sharp-looking and well-fitted blue coat. Kukyala is the first ceremony from where the bride price is discussed before the other nuptials commence.
