Meet Darphine And Alan McKenzie Who Recently Tied The Knot

By Robert K James

Roy Alan McKenzie, a paramedic and private investigator by profession is an Australian international who recently tied the knot with Darphine Kisakye, a Ugandan born from Gaba. McKenzie is also security officer and a first Aid teacher who runs a company called RAM Security and Private Investigations in New South Wales, Australia.

Alan and Darphine met around late October 2014 at a gym in Australia where she occasionally went to work out. ?When we met, it was the beginning of everything; love at first sight I tell people. We shared contacts and kept on texting, started seeing each other almost every day,? an enthusiastic Darphine narrates.

In January 2015, we moved in together and he met my parents in July. He wanted us to get married but fortunately or unfortunately, we go the best news that we had been expecting our first child and we put everything on hold.

He later on proposed again and we got married on March 11th, 2016 in Australia, just 18 days before our daughter, Kirabo McKenzie was born. She is now eight months and two weeks old.

Given that only a few of her family members had managed to attend the wedding in Australia, Darphine thought it would be nice to give Alan a treat of a traditional ceremony (giveaway) in her motherland and a wedding.

She once again introduced her hubby to her relatives on November 11th, 2016 in Gaba before McKenzie, who was donned in a tuxedo walked her down the aisle at St Kalori Lwanga Catholic Parish in Gaba on November, 13th. Darphine wore a Halter neck gown that she designed herself.

After church, the couple had photo shoots at Studio Sn and at Speke Resort gardens in Munyonyo before heading to Gaba beach where they hosted their guests that were entertained by S&S band.
